What is Covered

MODULE 1

It’s essential for parents to take care of themselves first, so they can be the best version of themselves for their children. Through focusing on self-care and our mindset, we can learn to regulate our own emotions and set a strong foundation for supporting our children effectively.

MODULE 2

Building strong relationships with children is a key protective factor in building resilience. This module explores how to build strong connections with kids and the power of emotion coaching. Connection before correction is a key concept we unpack.

MODULE 3

Communication supports connection. When parents and children are regulated they can then communicate. We explore how do we this so that we are role modelling good healthy communication techniques that will serve us and our children well in their future.

MODULE 4

Here we unpack the research on resilience and provide mums with some practical ways of building resilience in their children through concepts like mastery, problem-solving skills, time and space and  ideas for introducing new experiences and challenges to your children.

MODULE 5

Addressing the topic of screens and technology, this module examines the research around screen time for kids, and the impact of the content consumed. Screens are here to stay so this module is about awareness, education, finding a healthy balance with screen time, and fostering open communication about safety and online behaviour.

About Me

I’m Celia Hogan, an experienced parenting coach specialising in well-being and resilience. With 25+ years in education, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges parents face.

I have worked in the Education sector for 25 years and more recently trained in abundance life coaching and peaceful parenting, I bring a unique perspective with a focus on conscious and needs-based parenting which creates strong family connections.

Drawing from my experiences, life long learning and training, my goal is to empower parents to connect with themselves, and raise well and resilient children.

With my husband, we have two spirited children and we love adventures in nature.

What People Say

Celia was invaluable at helping me understand the dynamics that were occuring in my relationships both with my children and with surrounding whānau. I was really grateful for her unhurried and reflective questioning which ultimately led me to making my own connections with the problems I was faced with. She then was able to give me solid strategies that were immediately reflected in both my children’s behaviours and an improvement in my own well being!

Katrina

Celia is amazing. She creates a safe place to support and nurture you through your own journey as a parent. She has great strategies and tools for delving into the experience. I always felt like I was moving at my pace and in control of the process. Her insights and reflections reveal her presence as a coach which felt like she was fully engaged in the process as well. I can highly recommend Celia as a parent coach. Thank you so much.
