What is Covered

MODULE 1

In Module 1, we will focus on Prioritising Wellbeing. It’s essential for mums to take care of themselves first, so they can be the best version of themselves for their children. I will guide you in practical ways to prioritise self-care with limited time and create a sustainable routine that nourishes your mind, body, and soul, so you can be present for your kids.

MODULE 2

In Module 2, we will dive into Regulating Emotions. Parenting can sometimes feel like an emotional rollercoaster, but by mastering your emotions, you can create a calm and nurturing environment for your children. I will provide you with techniques and strategies to manage your emotions effectively, so you can respond to your children with empathy and understanding and apply co-regulation strategies. This module will also give you a deeper understanding of the growing brain and what a child needs most when they are dis-regulated and how we can support the development of emotional intelligence.

MODULE 3

Module 3 is all about Building Strong Parent-Child Relationships. We will explore the importance of connection in fostering a healthy and loving bond with your children. Together, we will discover practical ways to strengthen your relationship and create lasting memories that your children will cherish. Connection before correction sums it up.

MODULE 4

Effective Communication Strategies are the focus of Module 4. Healthy communication is the key to resolving conflicts and maintaining a harmonious family dynamic. I will guide you in understanding different communication styles and teach you how to communicate effectively with your children, facilitating understanding and mutual respect.

MODULE 5

Module 5 brings us to the world of Play and Playful Parenting. Playing is not just for kids; it’s a powerful tool for building connection, fostering creativity and building resilience. Together, we will explore the importance of play in your child’s development and learn how to engage in fun and meaningful playtime with your little ones.

MODULE 6

Lastly, in Module 6, we will tackle the challenge of Managing Screens and Technology Usage. Technology is part of our lives, but it’s essential to find a healthy balance. I will provide you with practical strategies to help manage screen usage and help your children develop a healthy relationship with technology. Hint – role modelling is key so we will be looking at our own screens first.

About Me

I’m Celia Hogan, an experienced parent coach specialising in well-being and resilience. With 25+ years in education, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges parents face.

Trained in outdoor education, abundance life coaching and peaceful parenting, I bring a unique perspective with a focus on conscious and needs-based parenting which creates strong family connections.

My coaching journey began with my Bush Kindy where I helped parents with common challenges.

Drawing from my experiences, life long learning and training, my goal is to empower parents to connect with themselves, and raise well and resilient children.

With my husband, I have two spirited children and we love adventures in nature.

What People Say

Celia was invaluable at helping me understand the dynamics that were occuring in my relationships both with my children and with surrounding whānau. I was really grateful for her unhurried and reflective questioning which ultimately led me to making my own connections with the problems I was faced with. She then was able to give me solid strategies that were immediately reflected in both my children’s behaviours and an improvement in my own well being!

Katrina

Celia is amazing. She creates a safe place to support and nurture you through your own journey as a parent. She has great strategies and tools for delving into the experience. I always felt like I was moving at my pace and in control of the process. Her insights and reflections reveal her presence as a coach which felt like she was fully engaged in the process as well. I can highly recommend Celia as a parent coach. Thank you so much.
